So I said on Tuesday that Stamping Solutions is one of my top 2 favorite cartridges, and this is the other one.
The Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge is sooo much fun, especially if you have boys. I’ve been thinking that Cricut really needs to come up with some good boy cartridges (not licensed characters, things like bugs and dinosaurs and outer space and super heros, etc.) and this one does a pretty good job at being a great boy cartridge. There is some really cute girl stuff too, but lots of great boy stuff!
The problem with this cartridge, and the reason it’s the best kept Cricut secret, is because the back of the cartridge only shows you the paper dolls, but each button also has 3 accessory options which is where all the great stuff is that you can’t see unless you look through the book! I took the liberty (with permission, of course) to take some pictures of my favorite “accessories” so you could see what I mean. Click on the image up there and you’ll be able to see everything much bigger. (When the picture shows up, you can click on it again to make it even bigger.)
I have some great projects waiting for me. I’m redoing the wall decor in my nursery to be some dinosaurs from this cartridge. Can’t wait to share when I’m finished!
What is your favorite Cricut cartridge???

Very cool and so versatile. I love it. Ahhh, someday.
I love the paper doll cart. I used it to decorate for Halloween last year.
I think my favorite is just base camp…the lettering is so basic it works for everything!
I have that one two, my mom and I were blown away by all the things. You have to check out a childs first year. It is my new favorite. same deal ton of stuff, amazing ways to use it, and boy stuff!
Forget the kids… I think I’m the biggest kid in the family. I would be making toy dolls with the cricut for me to play with.
I swore I did not need or want this cart until very recently. But I had a chance to play with my GF’s cart and I agree, it is OH SO versatile! Tons of stuff I didn’t realize was on there. And the new one is just as full of cool stuff.
really think it’s cool but would like to see a cartridge with spaceships and rockets since my grandson is a big big big fan of BUZZ LIGHTYEAR
Just got the cricut but have used one before. Working with the paper doll cartridge. Cannot get the hair to cut. i know I am missing something. Please email me at arlinepozzo@yahoo.com.
how did you make the alien from the bath towel applique?
Thanks for posting this. I’m at work today working on a project and I left my book at home – this was a HUGE help!!
I just bought this cartridge, I am so excited by it. I had no idea it had so many fun accessories. I made the sleigh right away, it’s so much better than the one of Winter Woodland. Wow!!!
Good to know! Can you confirm that there is in fact a Fire Truck?
Yes, it’s the Everyday Paper Dolls cart that has a fire truck and a fire man and lots more!
Thank you so very much for this fabulous post! I thought I was going crazy after seeing someone posting about using this cart to cut dinosaurs! I keep looking, and looking….thinking it had to be a typo!
I’m looking for dinosaurs to do a birthday theme for my son’s party decor, thanks again! I’m excited to purchase this cart now!
