I am currently reading Breaking Dawn, and so far can't quit reading it! I HATE the name Renesemee too, but what i like about it is, that Bella was creative and decided to mix Esmes' and Rennes' names into 1, but seriously!, she couldn't have done better? And I too agree that it should be the daughters choice to read the Twilight Series! They have their own minds and are old enough to know that it's a fiction book. And thanks for reccomending all these book series everyone! I'll try them out! Hope I proved some good points!

Well, I enjoyed the books. All of them. and the movie, too. I do have a teenage daughter who is in no way interested in reading them, she is really into Jodi Piccoult, Kurt Vonegut, etc. Yes, she has her own mind and isn't easily swayed by what others say. It wouldn't bother me if she read them, she is old enough to make that decision. I did however see a friends daughter reading them, she is in 7th grade and I didn't agree with that, but I'm not her mother. Anyway, I , too, hated the name Renesmee. I mean, come on. Geez! I do appreciate you all telling about the Midnight Sun book on her website. I will definitely check that out.

If you go check out Stephenie Meyer's Website you will find her explanation and reasoning for a lot of the things that bothered you in the book. For example, why it was so anticlimatic. I also agree with whoever it was that said that Midnight Sun was her best book to date. It really is! Too bad she won't be finishing it! :(

Seriously! I thought the same thing of Bella and her constant "does he love me" attitude. He did nothing but love her in everything he did. All of her books were page turners (however I do think that some of it could have been cut out). I loved how it all came together in the last book. I did want to see them fight at the end though.....I wanted to see a spectacular triumph of good over evil. But she showed that in a different way. It was great.

Once I found the Twilight series, I practically devoured the first three books. And even though I do agree with you on some points, I keep re-reading them! (now including the fourth) I simply cannot relate to Bella's insecurities. Seriously, how many times does Edward have to reassure her? And when I read Breaking Dawn for the first time and got to the part where she finds out she's pregnant, I thought maybe Stephenie Meyer had found some fanfic on the internet and just inserted it into the book. But I was happy with how that all turned out, and how the series turned out. And now I'm impatiently waiting for the movie!

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with ALL of you. I absolutely hated reading, until I discovered this series! I read the first 3 books, in less than a week! I couldn't put them down!

As far as talk, about Breaking Dawn being too "sexually graphic, " are you kidding me?! If you ask me, it wasn't GRAPHIC enough!!! :) And everyone I've talked too, agrees with me!! I knew that these books were marketed towards teens though, and probably wouldn't be too descriptive. But how can you think, "they kissed..........the next morning they woke up together, " was too graphic?? C'mon! There was nothing bad in that!

While Breaking Dawn had it's weird twists, it ended well, and that's all I could ask for. The only thing I remotely agree with you guys on, is the name Renesmee.....I wasn't a big fan of that name. But other than that, I give the series 2 thumbs up!

As far as people saying how innapropriate these books are for teenagers, I strongly disagree! I will DEFINATELY let my teenagers read these books. I find nothing so bad in them, that would want me to prohibit my teens from reading these books. We live in a world full of pornography, sex, drugs, etc....and you guys are trying to tell me that these books compare to that? I sure as heck would rather my kids be reading these books than doing those other things! Some of you are saying you wouldn't want your teenage daughters relating to Bella. C'mon! Yes, Bella's insecurities bugged me throughout the series. But these books are FICTION people! They're NOT TRUE! I'm sorry, but all of my teenage sisters, teenage cousins, and teenage nephews have read these books....and they turned out just fine. They know that these books are fiction. They have yet to find themselves a vampire, and fall in love.

Sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone. This is just my opinion. These books are NOT trashy. They are a great read. I encourage anyone who has not read them, to start! :)

Ha! I agree on all accounts. Yet I still loved it, my girly self, and SO happy she became a vampire, finally. At least Meyer didn't get us excited for nothing.

I am interested about the movie. I think it may end up being a little teeny bopish. I wish Brad Pitt could reprise his role and come back years later as Carlise or something. Even Tom Cruise could play the Volturi.

I couldn't agree more! I read the book at the coaxing of my teenage daughter, and I have to say that I have definitely read many better. I am not sure what all the hoop-la is about. I also was a bit shocked by some of the newlywed scenes. I really was regretting letting my teenage daughter read it. Not a book that I would recommend.
