Book Talk: Elantris
4 commentsAfter I finished this book last night, I handed it over to my husband and told him HE HAD to read it. I like me a good fantasty book, and Elantris is a must read.
The story is very unique with some really inventive and creative elements and some great characters. Although one of the main characters is a strong willed, intelligent, and courageous woman, I felt like this book was perfect for both (teenage) boys and girls to read.
Brandon Sanderson created a world of political and economic uncertainty, prejudice, magic, holy war, love, and lots more! I loved all the characters (at least the ones you’re supposed to love…) and really enjoyed this book. Let me know what you think!

Oh I love a good fantasy book! Will have to check this one out, Thanks!
I discovered this book a few years ago, and I really really liked it. I would even say it is one of the best fantasy books I’ve ever read, and I’ve read quite a few.
I love the Harry Potter books and I love anything to do with fantasy! Thanks for the heads up, this book actually does sound like something I may like.
I’m wary of trying new books unless I get a great recommendation… and since you’re telling hubby he HAS to read it, it MUST be good! I’m going to check it out from the library this weekend (if they have it, it’s a small library). Thanks for the suggestion!
