At the moment the images are hanging flat to the wall they need something to make them stand out. A bright frame in one of the colours of the fabric with matting the colour of the wall would be the ideal solution but a cheap black frame from the store would work just as well. They must take her forever. And I don't understand how the background is quilted but the appliqued flowers aren't. She must put them on last, but in the pictures of her process it looks like she sews them on first! Very curious workmanship! And I think you just need to frame them with a nice thick frame. I wonder if you could find some at DI and spray paint them bright blue or orange.
