From Holey Sock to Kid Car Washing Mit + Sock Crafts

I keep a bucket of holey socks in our laundry room. We occasionally find uses for them as dusters and oil rags mostly, but our newest use is as a car washing mit for the kids. They love to help and a sock mit is something they can handle and use easily.

I hate matching socks and have no problem wearing miss matched ones. But this is a great idea for my kids. They love to help wash the car with my hubs and this will keep my dish towels safe.

Smart, smart idea. So that’s what I can do when one sock in the pair gets a hole, but the other one is okay!
