Grandpa Beck’s *THE BEARS AND THE BEES* Card Game

My favorite Eye Candy game right now is The Bears and the Bees, another winner from Grandpa Beck! It’s easy to learn, quick to play, great for players of all ages and playing with mixed ages.

The rules are easy to learn – each player starts with 8 cards and the queen bee card starts in the center. Players have to match up colors on at least 2 sides of a card to be able to play it.

(It’s the perfect game for the 5-7 year old crowd, these two cousins played it for about a week straight.)

Some of the cards have to meet special requirements to play – flower cards can only touch one color AND make every other player have to draw an extra card, bear cards can’t be played on after they are laid down, Worker Bee cards make one other player have to draw an extra card.

There are plenty of twists and turns to make this game interesting and unpredictable. :)

If you can’t play or choose not to, draw an extra card!

I’ve had a lot of kids at my house this summer, and this game has been a hit with every different group. It’s so colorful and fun, and who doesn’t love bears, bees, and flowers?!? It’s a great party or family night game, definitely one of our favorites!
