Lovely Cards

I have been on a real card making kick lately, and I’ve decided I love doing series with the same color combos and variations on basically the same design. I can get lots done fast this way and have fewer scraps left over when I’m finished.
For these cards I mostly used my Cricut and some Cuttlebug for embossing.

Love your cards! I also like to use the same papers to get matching sets! Scrapbook paper companies make it so easy to match since they do entire lines that coordinate! I get my inspiration from magazine and catalogs. I look at the layout of their pages and the products they are selling. I also love that there are so many sketch sites out there, for when my creativity is not flowing like it should!

I have all the stuff you do but mine don’t turn out as cute as yours. So for now I’m getting my inspiration from you. It’s funny you said you were on a card making kick because I’ve been on one too for the last few weeks. I haven’t touched my Cricut in probably 10 months and all of a sudden I’m making cards like crazy. I think it started because I wanted to make a Mother’s Day card. (I’d rather spend 2 hours making a card than spend $5 on buying one. I know…go figure.) Thanks for letting us see your cute stuff.

I hear you…making cards does take some time but I get lots more done with I do several at once. And they’re so much more beautiful than store bought cards.

Good ideas – sometimes I forget that I can get ideas from my scrapbooking magazine, but it’s the same thing!

Kelsey, would you like to make some cards for the girls in our ward that are graduating? Your cards are so much cuter than anything I could ever come up with ;)

I really love the way your cards turned out! I think it’s a great way to use up scraps of paper too. My favorite series was the third one with the birds. I love the colors and I always love little birdies!

You need to submit your cards to Cards magazine!
