America’s Test Kitchen recipes are seriously the best! If you have a choice between two similar ones, and one is from them, use it without hesitation! I’m going to have to go get some sugar today…

did you really mean 12 T. butter or was it 1/2 T. butter?

I’m sure she meant 12 T. of butter. That would be 1 1/2 cubes worth.

The ATK Family Cookbook is our go-to for dinner. I have never tried their cookie recipes… we usually use the Martha one. I’ll have to try it! Thanks for the tip!

Yup, 12 T. butter. Sometimes I use only 8 and it works just fine. I also usually put in a little less sugar, but following the recipe exactly makes for the most delicious cookies. Enjoy!

Who can’t use a best chocolate chip cookie recipe! Thanks. My family likes to make it a project when we try a new recipe. My son has taken on learning to bake quite a bit because of it. No chef probably, but a man who can cook! Thanks!
