very cool idea to use the cookie dough scoop for pull apart rolls. and the idea in comments to scoop ice cream with it is very clever as well.

two things pop to mind when i think of something i use unconventionally:

--the gardening kneepads i've been wearing as shin guards while loading the dishwasher ever since I banged my shins on the lowered dishwasher door. i've blogged about that in the last month i think.

--and key fobs, no two alike which i collect. i use them for zipper pulls on coats, attaches, purses, duffles etc. I have one holding five thumb drives for backing up my files. and this is the one you'll like...i use them for little portable sewing kits especially for my fine needlework projects. each one holds items pertaining to the project it travels with such as a mini pin cushion, needle threader, small scissors.

hmmm. this gives me an idea for a post. i'll have to take some pics of a few of my keyless key fobs and post them.

I use my long kitchen tongs to reach things on the upper shelf! I'm short and this is much easier than pulling out the step stool!

Great idea for using it for the pull apart rolls. I will have to try this. I don't reallt do anything unusual. We use cookie cutters to make sandwich shapes which makes lunch time easier and fun.

I love my pizza cutter! I use it to cut my son's sandwiches, pancakes, anything really. I also use it to cut my homemade egg noodles! It's a serious time saver! Definitely for more then pizza!

Also, I have an oil spritzer from the Pampered chef that I put melted butter in for spraying on popcorn, that way you get a more even coat.

My uncoventional use of a plastic glass is quite lame - I use it for a rolling pin and also to cut out biscuits. lol Guess I should invest in a rolling pin one of these days.

I have a whisk with a super long handle (for soup kitchen style cooking) that I got at a yard sale. It was clean but I didn't want to use it for food... so I use it just for stirring paint. Works much better than those sticks

This may not count, but I use a Pampered Chef can opener for all my cans.
Then wash out and save and I can later repurpose them for other crafty things.
Note, if you have a pop top can, open the bottom with the Pampered Chef can opener, or other safety type can opener, then you can decorate it, fill it
with goodies and glue the bottom back on with a good glue like Crystal Effects, and give it as a gift. Kids especially get a kick out of this great repurposing idea.

With the safety edges you can decorate other cans and make pencil holders, etc for organization.

That is a great tip to use it for pull apart rolls--I will have to try that. Before I had a lot of crafting supplies I used my pampered chef scraper as a bone folder.

a cookie scoop is perfect for parties when serving watermelon. It cuts down on waste and makes the presentation so pretty. You could empty out the melon then put the balls from the cookie scoop back in.
