Toddler Neck Tie Pattern

So remember those toddler neck ties from yesterday? I had to alter the original pattern (From here) to fit my baby and 4 yo, so I basically just changed the length.

The basic shape is the same, I just made the smallest one 16″ long and biggest one 21″ long. These three sizes should fit kids up to about 6 or 7.

Also, I was thinking ties made from cotton would be flimsy and not look great up close, but because they’re two layers thick they actually look really nice and official.

Let me know if you give the pattern altering a try – just go for it!

I love this! I make bows for my granddaughter and always feel like my grandson. Is a little left out. Now I can make some ties for him.

Can you tell me how to get the pattern? The link for the pattern goes back to the tutorial and I don’t find a link for the pattern there. These are adorable ties and I would love to make a bunch.

I tried your Tie Pattern yesterday – Fabulous! I made a dozen (two each of six fabrics) for my grandsons – they came out adorable and I cannot wait to hear my daughter’s reaction when she gets them in the mail! Thanks again for the pattern and the great tutorial.

Tried the toddler tie pattern today and it was perfect!!! Thank you!!! I thought I could figure out making it bigger for my older boys (6 and 8) but it was a long day! :) So I got back on to look for a bigger pattern and am so thrilled to find that you made one of those too!! Off to make 2 more ties for Easter! Nothing like the last minute! :)
