What a great video!!! considering I didn’t know what a walking foot looked like, and the fact that there are very few stores that sell sewing machines or fabric, I was really at a loss. Thank you very much! now I know
Great video and so nice of you to put these together for your followers. I made a quick quilted cover yesterday for my embroidery unit and was disappointed to see that the back fabric had bunched up around the stitching. I had problems with my machine tension which I adjusted and the stitches look good. I did use a broadcloth fabric for the backing which I believe is a blend of poly and cotton. I wonder if that was what caused the problem? Maybe the quilters cotton on top with the broadcloth on the bottom wasn’t a good weighted match?

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I bought a walking foot and couldn’t
figure out for the life of me how to use it. Hopefully now I will actually
be able to quilt something – anything at all, I’m not picky (haha!).
Great tutorial.
very helpful considering in class last week I had to have the teacher attach my foot. ugh newbie.
Everyone I asked about what I should look for when buying a sewing machine to learn to quilt said…a walking foot! Thanks for the demo!
I hope my hands aren’t in the way too much…
