Baby Giveaway #5 – Munchkin Jelly Bean Cargo Sling
THE PRIZE
One reader will win the Munchkin Jelly Bean Cargo Sling ($40)!
MY REVIEW
I’ve seen lots of baby carriers around and even tried to make one myself with my first baby. After trying out the Munchkin Jelly Bean Cargo Sling, I scrapped the one I made! The elastic in the extra wide shoulder strap makes the baby bounce up and down just slightly as you walk, which is so soothing for a newborn. That alone makes this product great for me because it puts my baby to sleep almost right away.
It’s comfortable to wear and babies up to 20 pounds fit inside. There’s a mesh section where the baby’s head goes to provide ventilation – this is great not only for breathing but for temperature as it can get pretty warm being snuggled up like they are in this baby sling.
I also really like the fabric and color scheme. Black, white, and red is cute for boys and girls, and as the mother of 2 boys, I appreciate the effort to provide a pattern and colors that can go both ways.
This infant sling has 4 cargo pockets to allow you to carry baby and all the necessities in one place. There are separate pockets for keys, cell phone, water or baby bottle, and diapers/wipes, or whatever else you might need to have with you.
Moms are busy, and being able to have your hands free and still carry your baby makes getting it all done completely possible. Thanks, Munchkin!

I should win because I have struggled with other slings and could never make them work right. I would love one that is easy to use and cute too.
With a new baby on the way, I could definitely use something like this to keep my baby secure and protected but also have my hands free to do other household chores, shopping, etc.. Love it!

I have an Ergo, but nothing for when they’re small. I’ve been wanting a sling but couldn’t figure out which one. This one looks fantastic! Would LOVE to win it. :)
I never used a sling with my first baby, however would like to try a product like this. I am a little nervous about handling a toddler and a newborn. I would love to bond with my newborn and have him close while having my hands free to help my toddler with all the things he needs help with!

I would love to have my baby close to me all day as I am a super busy mommy with multiple jobs. This is the perfect (safe) way to do it.
I should win this because my little one loves to held – all the time – and having this would make cleaning the house a little easier:) Thanks!

I have tried some slings and really struggled, but would love to carry my infant that way. This one looks great and I would love to win.

I have 2 little girls, and a third coming in 3 weeks. I’ve also had crippling carpal tunnel pain throughout the pregnancy, so it would be nice to have a little hands free time.
Am having a summer baby so a mesh sling sounds fabulous. I would love this!
I need this because I’m pregnant with my third–I’m going to need my hands free for the two I already have!

I should win because, while I have had the material to make a sling for almost 3 years now, I know I’ll never get around to it. :)
I would love to win this because I really would like to wear my babies in slings, but have yet to find one that is comfortable.

With my little one I didn’t have a sling and I really think it would have been so handy around the house. My best friend just had her first and I think she would love this to let her carry the baby while around the house and parks!

This sling looks much more comfortable than others I have tried. I would love to give this sling to my friend who is due with her second daughter in August. This is such a lifesaver- especially with trying to entertain an older child.

I should win because I think this sling is just what I was looking for!
I’d love to win this — with a toddler and a baby on the way, I could definitely see instances where it’s going to be necessary to have both hands available! :) Thanks for the chance.

As a new grandmother, I would love to be able to hold my new grandson and keep him close as long as I can. However, I struggle with problems with my arms (repetitive strain injuries) that have caused damage over time, and I just can’t hold things as long as I used to. Having this sling would allow me to keep him close, but take the pressure off my arms-which sounds great!

I should win b/c I am going to give this to a friend that had an 11lb 6oz baby boy (they thought they were having a girl!) and her back is killing her. By the way, the baby was NOT a c-section. She is the women!

I tried making a sling for my first son but only used it once. He got lost in it! This sling has a lot of extras mine certainly didn’t. Having this around in September when #3 arrives would be great. Thanks for hosting!

Love this baby carrier!! And all the extra things are awesome. I was going to attempt to make my own carrier, but I LOVE this one. This would be perfect for my new baby and chasing my other two kids around.
