Back-To-School Giveaway: Filter For Good

by Kelsey Norwood

in Giveaways

{The winner of the Filter For Good giveaway is Dawna W! She said, “I love knowing that the food and water I give my family is pure and chemical free. Brita is the best for purifying water! What a great idea for a giveaway!!!” Congratulations!}

THE PRIZE

filterforgood-giveaway

One reader will win a Back to School Eco-Friendly Kit, complete with a FilterForGood reusable bottle and bag, Brita pitcher, a notebook, ruler, scissors, and pencils, all made from recycled materials.

“The FilterForGood campaign works to reduce plastic waste by reminding people that filtered water and a reusable bottle are a good solution to cut down on bottled water waste at home and on the go.” With a Brita water filter and a BPA free Nalgene reusable water bottle, you can get that same clean taste without the waste.

Utah water is notoriously bad, and I’ve noticed an improvement with the Brita water filter. I try to always have a water bottle with me when I leave the house, and while I never used bottled water before, putting filtered water in my Nalgene is a great solution for better a tasting mobile water source.

For more information, visit FilterForGood.com where you can read about bottled water waste statistics and see the Brita Back to School checklist.

I learned that One Brita pitcher filter can effectively replace as much as 300 standard 16.9-ounce bottles. So you can get great-tasting water without so much waste. Talk about refreshing

I think Brita products are great! We have always used a Brita ever since we got married. It would be great to have a new replacement!

26 megan loukota September 7, 2009 at 9:31 pm

We love our Brita, my kids each have their own stainless steel water bottle, which really cuts down on the dishes I have to do. We use ours so much that it could use a back up.

We have awful tap water here in LA. We used to have a Brita pitcher but have been using bottled water for a while. I think it’s about time we switched back. I didn’t know you could recycle Brita filters – cool!
