MY REVIEW
Having a webcam has changed how I feel about living 850 miles from my nearest immediate family member (not counting my sister because she’s a college student and her residence is not permanent. Although it is WONDERFUL to have her close to me.)
I video chat with my sister in Seattle at least several times a week and with my brother in Portland not often enough so I feel like I get to see them and their kids more than I actually do. It makes me feel not quite as lonely for them. Boohoo. I can’t wait for my parents to get a webcam because then Grandma will be able to see her adorable grandbabies! And she’ll be able to help me when I have sewing questions.
We love the Logitech Webcam 9000 because it’s easy to install, the software that comes with it is super easy to use and allows you to adjust all kinds of settings like colors, focus, sound, lighting, and application preferences. Within the software you can make video calls using Logitech Vid (the free program that comes with the camera), Google, Skype, and Sight Speed. And the picture is clear, the colors are vibrant, and the sound quality is excellent.
You can even enable face tracking which is really fun. Somehow the camera follows you around if you move and zooms in and out automatically. Amazing! You can even set it to follow two people. Technology is just so smart these days!
I recently discovered I can take videos of myself with the webcam and publish them to YouTube and then my blog! The following 10 second video took about 20 seconds to upload to YouTube, so it’s way faster than other kinds of video cameras. Don’t notice my messy office…it’s probably the messiest room in the house and I’m okay with that.
Fun, huh?!?
Like I said, you can upload videos to YouTube within the software or you can attach and send them via email. My kids love to video themselves with the webcam because they can see it as it’s happening, Using our hand held video camera is nice, but the webcam makes it super convenient.
The Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 takes great videos, is easy to use, and is perfect for keeping in touch with family and friends!

That is fantastic. I have a super tiny cheapie web cam and am not too thrilled with the quality.
We’ve made one webcam call to my family recently, and my daughter has asked everyday since to talk to her cousins on the computer. We’d love to be able to talk to all my distant family more.
I would love to win this so the kids can visit with family out of town, and be able to see eachother while we talk.

with no family close it would be a great way for my kiddos and myself to stay in contact a little more “close”
I would love to be the winner because our family is also spread in different directions. We are in Iowa…My family is in N. Carolina…my hubby’s family is in Arizona and Idaho. I would also love to have this to take cute videos of our 2 children to post on my blog for the grandparents to see. My son is two and is not camera shy in the least…and my daughter is 2..we all know how fast they grow and change when they are that little. This would help our parents feel like they are apart of that growth! Thanks for the chance!

I would love to be the winner because my husband is going to go to work up in Canada (we live in WV) and I’d love to have a webcam so the kids can actually see him on christmas day (if he can’t come home which we’re crossing fingers and toes that he does)…I’m getting him a laptop (from HSN today) before he goes as a surprise and it has a webcam included in it. Our family would love to have this cool device in our house!! We have tons of friends and family spread across the country that the webcam would help us “see” people more often. I have two kids, a 3 year old son and a 11 month old daughter. This would be a great way for them to see family more than twice a year.

My sister and he family moved to Spokane for law school taking her little boy who is my little girls best friend. They are a week apart an best buddies. This would be the perfect way for them to be able to talk to each other.

WOW! I should win this because I live in Kentucky, of all places, and have no family nearby. It would make talking to my family in AZ, CO, OH, MS, NY, MI, and UT so much easier! :)
I love Logitech products! The Harmony remote control is the best thing ever! I gave one to my son for Christmas last year, and he gave me one for Mother’s Day this year! He’s in college now; the web cam would be nice for us to keep in touch.

I would love this because I only have one 18 month-old grandchild and she lives in Idaho and I live 1300 miles away in Iowa. It is expensive to travel between the states and I would love to be able to watch her grow.

I should be the winner because I would love to win this for my Brother and sister-in-law so everyone could talk to them and watch and talk to my Toddler Niece on the webcam since they live far way from the rest of the family and we don’t get to see her as often as we like!
My husband’s camera is on it’s last legs and we use it a lot to talk to family in Canada and right down the street.
