We love card games!!! They’re easy to learn and are always my kids’ favorites because they’re quick and lots of people can play.

For a limited time, you can purchase Nuts About Mutts for 50% off if you buy Gnoming-A-Round at the same time on Amazon. Use the code NEWGAMES50 at check out. :)

Even my little guys enjoy Nuts About Mutts – they need some help and patience but it’s helping them with number and color recognition and all kinds of great preschool skills that they wouldn’t be interested in learning in any other way.

They love playing games with the big boys! This is one that my husband or I play often with them, just the twins and one of us. It’s a great way to spend some focused time with them doing something they want to do. They always choose this game!

The game is played similarly to UNO only there are special action cards, dog bones to grab, and a third element to the card (matches are made to color, number AND dog breed). Any player can play a run or a set that includes the number just played, even if it’s not their turn.

So there’s a lot going on in this game which makes it worlds more fun than regular UNO but with the same classic feel.

The dog cards are so adorable and the action cards are funny (we’ve come to expect good humor from Grandpa Beck’s games, they’re always so funny!). My kids play and laugh and laugh and laugh…

Race to the dog bone! When The Mutt special card is played, all players have to cover up a bone. One player won’t get one; he draws an extra card.

Such cute doggies!

This game is a must have for preschool and younger elementary players. It’s such a fun way to practice numbers, matching, and turn taking. We love it!

Thanks to Grandpa Beck’s Games for sharing it with us!
