REVIEW

Oh, where to begin. I love cardstock, especially textured cardstock in hundreds of different colors. Core’Dinations is kind of like cardstock heaven – they have sooo many different kinds and colors, it’s unreal!

coredinations color core cardstockCore’Dinations ColorCore cardstock is special because it’s a sandable cardstock that has a colored core rather than a plain white core. The paper is very heavy and sturdy, with a beautiful texture, and endless possibilities. Because of the colored core, you can sand, tear, or antique the paper to get the surface and the core color incorporated into your project.

Sanding the cardstock removes the surface color only on the textured part, so you get an aged, two tone look. Tearing lets you outline the top color with the core color, and antiquing combines both tearing and sanding with crinkling to give you a three-dimensional quality. So this cardstock is much more than normal paper!

For example, the surface of every sheet in the Black Magic collection is black. But underneath is a different color that you can sand or tear to reveal. I can’t to see what embossing does to this paper – I think it’s going to be amazing! Similarly, The Chocolate Box collection looks like a bunch of different shades of brown, but underneath is a beautiful color waiting to be exposed!

All of the Core’Dinations paper packs are like this. They each have their own special finish and look that incorporates two different colors to give you more variety and fun in your paper crafting.

I can’t wait to show you all what I’ve been up to with this paper. I think it’s something you’re going to want to have for yourself…Thanks Core’Dinations!
