REVIEW

When I think of quilting, I think of lots of cutting, which makes me think of Olfa’s trademark yellow and green rotary cutting products. Olfa is pretty much the top of the line when it comes to rotary cutting because their products each have some unique and helpful features, like the rotating self healing rotary mat included in today’s giveaway package.

If you sew, and especially if you quilt, you need the rotating cutting mat because you only have to position and align your fabric once to make multiple cuts and to get those intricate shapes you need for your quilt design.

The frosted acrylic ruler makes reading the numbers and grid lines, on both light and dark fabrics, so much easier. And it’s covered in markings. The “Pivot Point” angle markings are great for cutting half square triangles, borders, patchwork, strips, bindings, and lots more.

Lastly, the quick change rotary cutter is a heavy duty tool that can be easily adjusted for either right or left hand use. It’s comfortable to hold, sharp, durable, and cuts either straight or curved lines. And when it comes time to change the blade, the process is quick and easy with just a single step.
