MY REVIEW

Since I started Vanilla Joy in 2007, I’ve gotten a lot of great stuff to try out and review, and the Sport-Brella is definitely in my list of summer favorites.

Basically, the Sport-Brella is a compact, lightweight, and enormous umbrella, perfect for sporting events, the beach, or your back yard and we’ve used ours all summer long. It’s quick to set up (less than 5 minutes), it’s sturdy, and most importantly, it provides enough shade for our entire family no matter where we go.

SPORTBRELLA REVIEW

The Sport-Brella provides 8 feet of coverage and has side flaps for extended protection. It also has vents and zippered windows to allow the breeze to pass through and keep you even cooler in the shade. It’s sun and weather protected, water repellent, and has internal pockets for your gear. It weighs 9 pounds and is the perfect summer shade solution!

We’ve taken ours on all our camping trips this summer and I’m happy to say that we have not had any sunburns! For us, having portable shade umbrella like this means we stay cooler and don’t get sun burned, so we can stay outside all day every day.

  1. OHHHH< I could have used this on our recent camping adventure.
    What a perfect item for the patio as well. Our patio gets direct morning sun and gets mighty hot in the deep south. I could really use this umbrella.

  8. I would love the most how portable of shade it is. We go fishing and it would be perfect to use with my 1yr. and bet it would be great at the beach. I like the side windows on it too.

  30. I bought this cute umbrella once from Crate and Barrel and it was the heaviest monstrosity. Who knew? I love that this is light. My pale children and my pathetic lack of muscles would love this.

  31. This is an awesome umbrella. It would be perfect for my son’s soccer games all year round (sun, rain and cold wind). I would be able to cheer on the team without having to hold on to the umbrella or putting it down on the ground and have it fly off if it’s windy!

  66. This sport-brella is amazing! It would be great to take to the beach to keep my little guy out of the sun but still have fun with the sand. It would also be great for pregame tailgating for college football.
