MY REVIEW
Seagate GoFlex
I have reviewed a few different hard drive brands and Seagate is my favorite for sure! They’re so easy to use, just plug in and go. They’re sleek, small, and competitively price, and like all Seagate drives, all software is preloaded.
I received a 1TB GoFlex to review and I’m putting all my videos and pictures on there. It will be nice to not have to worry about space for a while!
The GoFlex drives come with USB 3.0 Super Speed connectivity which allows you to store, share, and play and view hi-definition movies and photos. Data transfer is up to 10x faster than the 2.0 connection but it’s compatible with a 2.0 interfaces so you can use it on any computer.
Another great new-ish feature is that you can store and access files from PC and Mac computers without reformatting. That ought to make lots of people happy!
Roxio Creator 2011 Software
My brother built our computer and put in some fancy features that are great except not all software is compatible with them. So unfortunately, I have not yet been able to personally review this software, although I have used Roxio software before and it’s so easy to learn and use.
Roxio Creator is the ultimate digital media resource with the ability to edit and create CDs and DVDs, rip and convert audio files, and edit and share photos.
I have hundreds of videos of my kids on my computer and I’m just waiting for my brother to fix my computer so I can use Roxio to get them all onto DVDs. Because of my experience with Roxio in the past, I’m sure it will be a quick and easy process.
