MY REVIEW
In all seriousness, this is one of my all time favorite toys. It is so simple, but absolutely perfect for the inquisitive minds and busy hands of a toddler/preschooler.
As you can see, there are two of each color of “bolt” and each color corresponds to only one branch – out of the 10 balls, only 2 will match each branch correctly. The 4 red bolts along the bottom are all each a different size and correspond to only 1 hole.
This toy teaches all sorts of great things – colors, matching, sizes, fine motor skills, etc., which means it will keep your child busy and learning. Watching my son figure it out has been so fun. He didn’t completely get it at first, but with practice, he has quickly learned which color goes where and has figured out the whole righty-tighty/lefty-loosy thing. I love a toy that a child has to intellectually/developmentally grow into!
Here are some more of my other favorite Oompa toys. I love the bright colors and high quality wooden construction. These toys are all designed to teach specific skills and are just lots of fun to play with (and look at)! My favorite categories to browse through are the building and stacking toys, pretend play, puzzles, and wooden toys.
