Paper & Ric Rac Christmas Bunting

Is there anything more cheery than a bunting? I think not.

I wanted to add a few things to our collection of Christmas decor this year and figured a bunting would be just the thing. I did this one out of paper instead of fabric, which was WAY faster but maybe not less expensive since I used glittery paper which was about $1 a sheet. Yikes. But it took me 30 minutes and is SO CUTE!

I used ric rac to string it all together and it will be so easy to store and get out again next year.

I have some other Christmas projects coming, so stay tuned!!

I lurv this. I think I found a place to put one, but I’ll do Feliz Navidad instead. And I love your color scheme. I didn’t find a single piece of cute paper at Jo-Ann’s today. LAME. AND I found out there is a Hobby Lobby in Washington! About an hour north. Someday I’ll make the trip.

I got my paper at Hobby Lobby & Michael’s and I think it has to be glittery. The glittery stuff is also really stiff, like even more than cardstock. I have a bunch of metallic red and silver paper left over that I used for the letters. Too bad you’re not my neighbor…

This is adorable! I have several yards of navy ric rac leftover from making a splat mat for our baby-to-bee, maybe I’ll have to add a bunting to the waiting-for-baby to-do list!
