1I love children’s books! I love making up stories with my own children. We have come up with some very silly stories at times. I recently finished writing a children’s book of my own about a cow, Missy Moo, which was inspired by my youngest daughter. Over the past few months I have worked with a talented artist to bring Missy Moo and her friends to life!

I am using Kickstarter (a website designed to help fund creative projects) to help me raise enough money to get the book printed and with a pledge of at least $7 you would receive your very own copy of Missy Moo, Where Are You Off To?

But only if we reach our funding goal by August 15!

Please visit www.missymoobook.com for more information about the book and how to support! You will also be able to view more illustration sneak peeks and a short video about the book!

Please share with friends and family, it would be a wonderful gift for nieces, nephews, children, or grandchildren!

Some of my favorite children’s books are “All the World” by Liz Garton Scanlon, “A Good Day” by Kevin Henkes, and “Teammates” by Peter Golenbock.

I love children’s books–they are my favorite gifts to give.

Reading is so important for kids. I love books that keep kids wanting to learn more. My little boy just started reading, and he is getting excited to read more and more. I love hearing about new books that I can read to my kids, and books that my little boy can practice reading. These look like fun books, and Beth suggested some great books as well. We’ll have to check them out.
