Do you love to make stuff? Do you love finding new ideas for fun things to create… how to’s for DIY décor, trendy styles for handmade cards, fresh themes for scrapbook layouts and mini albums? Northridge Publishing has been collecting and sharing the latest and greatest of crafty project ideas for over 15 years now and they have recently jumped head-on into the world of digital publishing. Their fabulous collection of craft magazines are now found online and on your iPad!
Paper magazines are great, but it’s kind of a “love ’em and leave ’em” sort of thing. Having the mags digitally means that I don’t have to store them, dust them, organize them, etc. But even more than that (much more than that!), it means I can watch videos or view slideshows that show me the details on how to recreate projects. I can click through to a company’s website when I see an ad for a gorgeous new paper collection. And one of the small things that I really love – when I find a designer whose style I really just love, I can click on their name and go check out their blog right then and there to see more from that person. So many fun things that just can’t be had with old-school mags!
