MY REVIEW

As much as I’d like to need a Girls Will Be Girls cartridge, this is much more my speed. With two boys and a third due to arrive hopefully no later than 3 weeks from today, we’re getting lots of use out of this fabulous cartridge!

boys will be boys

Here are all the main images from the cartridge – I love all the different theme possibilities. Vehicles, sports, aliens, animals, toys, tools…so many great themes for bedrooms or playrooms or birthday parties.

This is one of those things that makes me feel like the world is coming around to the fact that stuff can be cute and fun for boys too!

boys will be boys cricut cartridge robot

I’m doing personalized towels again for Christmas gifts this year, and this one is for a nephew. I love it so much, I might have to use this design for our baby boy #3, who will hereafter be known to blogland as Linus.

boys will be boys cricut cartridge alien

This one is for another nephew. I am totally loving robots and aliens right now, and this cart has these two plus spaceships and rockets, etc.

boys will be boys cricut cartridge kite

This is another nursery project I have finally crossed off the list. Things are coming along slowly but surely, and I just needed this cartridge to finish this wall decor up! I’m going to do Linus’ real name in the frame on the bottom, maybe with some fabric or pretty paper behind and I’ll lay the vinyl on top of the glass…not sure yet.

I found these frames at a thrift store (the one on the left was free, so the frames in total cost me about $5). I spray painted them to match the Michael Miller fabric I used for the crib bumper, crib skirt, baby quilt, and fabric bunting.

The kite on the right is from BWBB. The acorn is from Create a Critter (another one of my favorites), and the tree and owl are from Stamping Solutions (a third favorite).

bakers flossAnd the vinyl is plain white from Roberts, which you can now buy BY THE FOOT! With a 40% off coupon, it’s $1.20 a foot. Love it.

And I just noticed on the website that they have in brand new baker’s floss! 26 yards for $3.99 (with a coupon, that would be $2.40!). They have it in 4 different color schemes, and I will be picking some up next time I’m there for sure.

Thanks so much to Robert’s for sponsoring today’s giveaway!
