GIVEAWAY – Over $100 in Baking Products from Wilton

by Kelsey Norwood

in Food,Giveaways

I always walk through the baking isle in craft stores and drool over all the wonderful baking tools from Wilton. I am such a sucker for specialized little tools and gadgets, cake pans of all shapes and sizes, tiny muffin cups, cookie cutters, and sprinkles…I do love sprinkles…

One lucky winner will win the following collection of baking products from Wilton:

Cookie Pro Ultra Double Heart Cutter Lips Cutter Jumbo Cookie Sheet
Dough Scraper Jumbo Cookie Spatula Rolling Pin Silicone Baking Mat

The winner will also receive a set of 9 metal Valentine’s themed cookie cutters. Imagine all the baking you could do with these fun products!

Like I said before, I love this aisle in the Craft stores because Wilton’s stuff is always so colorful, well made, specialized, and fun! Seeing all those handy products makes me want to bake, and that’s a good thing!

If you read my cinnamon roll post from last week, you know how much easier these products have made my baking life. The dough scraper, rolling pin, and baking mat are must haves for things like cinnamon rolls, pie crusts, scones, and more. And I love Wilton’s Comfort Grip cookie cutters because comfort is an important factor when you’re cutting out hundreds of sugar cookies in one afternoon – Wilton thought of that. And getting cookies off that jumbo cookie sheet is much faster with that jumbo spatula.

These products have made me realize that Wilton is trying to make baking as fun and enjoyable as possible. Making the rolling pin very large and heavy with removable handles for easy cleaning makes using it much easier! It rolls things out faster and cleans up quicker. All their products are like that – using Wilton’s products makes it clear that the people who are producing this stuff actually bake and know what we want in a kitchen tool.

If you haven’t browsed Wilton’s website lately, check out all their recipes and seasonal celebrations ideas – if I ever need to make a gift or dessert, Wilton is the first place I go.

Wilton has generously donated the 8 products pictured above (plus the Valentine’s cookie cutters) for 1 lucky winner. To enter:

I really love the better baking tools line. My favorite would be the Tilt’ n Mix 3 Pc. Bowl Set. So many great uses! Thanks for the chance to enter!

2 Rebecca January 26, 2009 at 4:00 am

I only discovered that the local craft store had one of these aisles a couple of weeks ago. I stared long and hard and asked my sister if I had a need for any of the shaped pans. She said no (probably true) but I still wanted several things. When I looked at the whilton site I saw something that caught my eye. The Bite size brownie squares pan. I would like to say that it would help me eat less brownies, but I think the brownies would just be poppable bits of chocolate joy.

3 StampinCathy January 26, 2009 at 4:02 am

Kelsey, I couldn’t live with out the cupcake silicone baking cups! They have cute little teddy bears, animal feet, and “human” feet! My kids would get such a kick out of those. However, the transportation puzzle cakes come at a close second!

What little guy (or girl) wouldn’t love one of these for his birthday? (Puzzle cake)

Have a great week!

I have or want to buy several more cake shape pans. But, my can’t live without are the flower nails, icing bags and HUGE assortment of tips. i could sit all all day and make icing flowers.

The most favorite cake I made was a straw hat with a cap ribbon and bow and flower explosion, complete with lace of the edges. It looked fit to wear to the Kentucky Derby. I made this for my daughter’s 6th birthday little girls’ dress-up party.

I would love to add this prize set to my wares.

AND I’ve been eying their collection of gel food coloring …

Yes, for as lazy as I am, I would love to have all sorts of their products … so when I FEEL like baking and decorating a masterpiece, I’ll be able to ACT on that desire. Before it passes.

And you already know that I subscribe to your RSS-feed, and the newsletter. Since I’m obsessed with you and love the chance to sorta “pick your brain” on all the fun domestic skills that I’m so sadly lacking. ^_^

But, OH, what I wouldn’t give for the time to take a Wilton Decorating class. That would be pretty dang awesome.

119 Sandra January 26, 2009 at 9:30 pm

Well, I can’t pick just one thing. I LOVE to bake and am passing that on to my daughter. at Christmas last year we made over 70 dozen cookies for school, work, friends!!! I quickly learned to love several new purchases: silicon baking mats (how did I live without them?), Perfect Height rolling pin, and rubber handled cookie cutters!!!

Thanks for this chance!

125 Julie B January 27, 2009 at 6:08 am

My favorite Wilton products are the silicone bakeware products, particularly the baking cups. I use them for cupcakes so that I don’t have to waste paper wrappers and so the frosting doesn’t get stuck to the wrapper! I love baking and would LOVE to win this giveaway of such fabulous Wilton products :)

137 Lynda ala arlsmom January 27, 2009 at 12:31 pm

I hate to admit it, but while I enjoy looking at Wilton’s products, I don’t actually own any. I hope to win this contest and change that sad fact. Their cupcake stands look cool, I know I could get some good use out of one of those.

I love Wilton. Just going to their website looks so clean and put together. Isnt that how we all want our things to be. I couldnt possibly decide on one thing and often go for broke. Decorating, ideas, recipes, classes! OMG its all there. I wish they had a way to reach inside your computer and touch it. I am a very touchy person and feel that when you can touch and feel its quality you know its going to be worth your money. This website, you just know that its quality and they do have an outstanding reputation! I would love to be chosen for this giveway. If I had to choose which product I couldn’t live without would be the turntables. Love the concept ,love the best way it helps to decorate your cakes. This would be it. Check them out you too will have to have one……..Diane

159 Marge January 28, 2009 at 12:28 pm

160 Katie Singley January 28, 2009 at 2:18 pm

I love the Wilton site! Such a hard decision of just one thing I can’t live without…that perfect cut brownie cutter is kinda cool (I love brownies). But, the cookie press is also awesome. But, I really keep needing a rolling pin for things that I have been making lately and do not have one, so I will have to say a rolling pin :)

161 Stephanie January 28, 2009 at 2:22 pm

From Wilton, the comfort grip cookie cutters are wonderful and a must if you’ve got kiddos who want to bake again and again! Not only are these comfortable, but my little girl has an easier time gripping the larger sized cutters – so more fun! Thanks for this chance!

188 Elizabeth February 8, 2009 at 7:40 pm

I’ve been browsing the Wilton site for days. After taking course 3 of cake decorating, I’m totally hooked on the Wilton Method. It’s fast and easy to learn, and I adore the results. So what do I HAVE to HAVE? The huge professional cake-decorating set with all the tools (what do the guys call it? Bells & Whistles?) in the fabulous organizer box. No half-way tool box for me!

189 sandra March 1, 2009 at 3:15 pm

I have the bite size square mold by wilton and just tried to make petit fours! I sprayed it good with JOY but they still stuck and werent successful at all.

What do you all bake in this and how do you get it to release?

The 101 Cookie cutters. The site has listed the 101 Cookie cutters which I just bought recently. I pulled some out to use exclusively for baking and others (like numbers and letters) I’ve saved for play-doh to help my little one learn his numbers and letters.
