Today’s random giveaway is for the RCA Small Wonder EZ200 Digital Camcorder ($90).
MY REVIEW
The Small Wonder EZ200 is a great choice for a digital camcorder because it is inexpensive, small, and easy to use. I love having a little pocket sized camcorder because I can take it with me without having to carry a whole camera bag.
The Small Wonder has some features that make it super user friendly and great to have around:
- flip-out screen for self video recording
- records up to 60 minutes
- takes an SD card which allows you to video up to 8 hours
- 1GB internal memory
- 2 quality settings – high and web
- takes pictures
- comes with a carrying case
- software installs automatically when plugged in
- upload videos to YouTube directly from the Memory Manager program
I love that this camera has 2 quality settings – you can choose the high quality setting which uses up more memory and will take longer to upload but will give you better video, or web quality for when you just want to put the video online (which is still pretty good quality).
You can see some footage taken with this digital video camera on one of my posts from last week. I did a video tutorial on how to sew elastic into a fitted crib sheet, and this camera made it so easy to record, upload, and post the video because it uploads straight to YouTube. I know there are lots of you who like to post videos of your kids on your blog – this camera is great for that!

What a great camera! We have one, but it’s JVC and soooo difficult to get videos onto YouTube. Thus we tend to do nothing with the videos. :( I would love to have one that’s easy to carry and share videos!

Hilary wants to win to record preschool graduation!
I always think I don’t need a video camera, but then when I occasionally see videos of my kids that other people took, or when I accidentally hit the video button for a moment on my digital camera, I see what a sweet thing it can be to see my kids in action. I have had 4 children and have never once gotten a video of anything they do!! It’s so heartbreaking to see the videos on blogs and know that I don’t have that luxury. I just recently received a digital camera…my very FIRST and the video is so hard to upload that I don’t even try anymore! I would hope to have more children and catch those first smiles, laughs, coo-s and of course the older children snuggling their sibling and still enjoy their growing up years and have those videos and memories as a valued treasure!

I really need to win this giveaway because I can’t aford to upgrade our current camera and it just isn’t able to capture all of our busy 15 month old’s action shots!!! The lag time is crazy slow – please help!

I’d really like to win this camera. We have two small children, and I’ve never been able to afford a video camera. To top things off, our digital camera is pretty much on it’s way out too. How sad :-(!!!

My husband is out of town for work more than he is home. He misses the everyday memories that happen with our two daughters. This compact camera would be ideal to carry in my purse and capture their moments wherever we are so dad can be a part and enjoy the daily happenings in their lives.

I would love to win this! I work nights and that’s when my grandson’s tee ball games are. It’s the first year I’ve missed any, and it’s only because I have no time I can take off with pay now. Working part time doesn’t allow me the flexibility I used to have.

I need to win this cause my baby girl just turned 2 years old and I feel like I can barely remember what she was like as a baby. I mean I have pictures and memories but absolutely no footage from when she was born or as an infant. We were just way too poor at the time (not playing the pity card). We had what we needed to be happy but it would be nice to be able to capture all her memories from now on. Great Giveaway thanks!

I need to win this digital camcorder to take on vacation to Seattle this summer. We’re taking our daughter to visit her grandparents(who she only sees every few years), and we’d love to be able to document it for her. With my father in law in poor health, we’re not sure how many more years he’ll be there!
