THE PRIZE

One reader will win a kid’s Camelbak Skeeter!

MY REVIEW

We got to try out the Camelbak Fourteener last summer, and I take it with me hiking, camping, to the park, everywhere. My kids love to drink from the reservoir, and the love having their own Skeeter.

The Skeeter is a small backpack that carries the new Antidote Reservoir and 50 oz. of water. The cap tightens in a quick turn and doesn’t leak at all, perfect for wild and crazy kids. The torso length is 11″ so it will fit most kids – it fits my 18 month old and my 4 year old, and the love wearing it around.

The back panel and harness are made from lightweight mesh that is breathable and comfortable to wear. The Skeeter also has front and back reflectivity to keep your kids visible in the outdoors.

I find that my kids drink more water when they wear the Skeeter because they think it’s so much fun and grown up. I love knowing they’re hydrated and happy.

Thanks to Camelbak for sponsoring this  giveaway!

  1. I need a new bottle, so that’s where I started looking.
I fell in much like with the
NEW! Limited Edition Better Bottle™ Poinsettia . EVEN though it says Poinsettia, it doesn’t look all that Christmas-y to me. i’d carry it everywhere and i just might. :)

  2. Wow, I use my camelback all the time and after looking at the website I think the Aventura would work best for me- I like its higher capacity because my kids are always wanting a sip and I like that it can also carry other things- the one I have now is just a hydration system and doesn’t double for snack storage. My kids would go ecstatic if they got one of these- they think mine’s so cool. LOL then they can be real hikers like mom :)

  3. We’re planning for 2011 to be our year of the outdoors, hiking, camping and exploring the National Parks and Forests. We’ve already bought our Adventure Pass and this would be so awesome to have for the kids.

  4. All those trips to the zoo or hiking when we go camping would be much easier if my four-year-old granddaughter or her little sister had something like this to wear.

  5. I love their products, especially all the bottles. I am a bottle snob. I also love the 2011 Classic and would love for my husband to have it while biking.

  7. I would love to win a kid’s Camelbak Skeeter!!! We have the Camelbak fourteener as well (love it)…but I would like to have something smaller, better suited for just the kids. The skeeter would be perfect for hiking, camping, or playing at the park. Thank you for the chance!!!

  8. The Skeeter would be great for a trip to the local amusement park. It is always so hot there, and it costs a fortune to buy drinks. The Skeeter would be an easy way to carry water.

  10. My daughters would love this. Especially since their father is really into cycling and the oldest is excited to take some longer rides now.

I’d love the 2011 Delaney Race in Aurora Pink. This would be great for staying hydrated during my walks.

  11. Our family goes hiking all the time, weather permitting, and our boys always drink from our Camelbaks til there’s nothing left! What a joy it would be for them to have their own! This is wonderful, thanks!

  12. My husband has one and swears by it! I’d love to have this for our long bike rides together. We won’t have to stop so many times for me to get my water bottle out!

  13. I want to take up the winter equivalent of hiking – snowshoeing! but it’s really hard to carry/use a nalgene bottle with gloves on. This looks like a great alternative! Thanks!
