This Week’s Projects…

I have a baby shower to go to this weekend so here’s what I’ve been working on:

appliqued bath towel

Another appliqued bath towel using designs from new Cricut cartridge, Create a Critter (love it!!!), and a new project, bibs made from a tablecloth. Target has some really cute vinyl table cloths right now, which make excellent, cheap, and easy bibs. Stay tuned for the full tutorial and pattern when I’m all finished.

Dang it, Kelsey! I really really really covet your Cricut…

Will be waiting for the tutorial on that bib, it’s great!

Those appliqued bath towels are so cute! Do you use terry cloth for the designs, or just whatever fabric you have on hand?

Hi Christy! I don’t use terry cloth – I think that would be too thick. I use whatever scraps of cotton fabric I have. I look in the remnant bin at JoAnn every time I go and get most of my fabric there because I only ever need smallish pieces. These towels are one of my favorite things to sew!
