MY REVIEW

I had been looking for some reasonably priced, good quality bakeware for months when Wilton contacted me about their new UltraGold collection. Um, yes please?!! I have been baking away ever since and am so glad to be done with the sunken and flat brownies and cakes I was getting with my glass bakeware.

I wrote my first review about UltraGold bakeware in December and I still love it. It’s made from the highest quality aluminum to give you the best baking results (I use a plastic knife to cut so I don’t scratch it’s beautiful surface) and heats evenly to give you a beautiful presentation. It has oversized handles that make it easy to get in and out of the oven and each pan has the dimensions stamped on the handles, so no more wondering or measuring!

wilton ultragold bakewareMy two favorite things I’ve made with UltraGold is a pan of good ‘ole regular brownies and a more sophisticated chocolate layer cake with peanut butter frosting. If I’d used my old glass pan for the brownies, the middle would be sunken in and not flat and beautiful and fluffy like it turned out with the aluminum pan.

  9. I love to bake but get so frustrated with pans that warp (bake goods come out uneven) so would love to try any size pan before making the big splurge. The oversized handles are also a big plus. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve struggled with trying to grab hold of the lip of a baking pan hot from the oven. Sounds like these are definitely worth a try so could recommend to all my other baker friends. Thanks for a chance to win Wilton!

  18. Premade frosting flowers are the best!!! And wilton’s taste the best! The off brand ones are gross!!! I just signed up for their cake decorating classes so these pans would def come in handy!

  26. I’ve been looking at ideas for birthday cakes. My baby will be one this month, and I just love what I have seen using fondant to make bows, but love the Curly Bow Cake.

  30. I love cupcakes, and the websites says you can make a ganache/candy melts/ or icing and pour it over the cupcake. Super easy solution for lots of cup cakes. I am gonna have to try it now.

  48. Since I am limited for room (and usually don’t use anything but the basics), my favorite would be ultragold 8″ cake pans and 13 x 9 pan. My poor cake pans are in pitiful shape and I do make layered cakes quite often.

    I loved the “Leaping into love” cookies candy and cupcakes.
    I love the frog motif and the whole idea of it looking like a traditional cake but being totally different and innovative.

  121. I love love LOVE the First And Ten Football Pan!! That would be fabulous for a Superbowl party or even tailgating! And I love the idea of making bread loaves in the shape of footballs for submarine sandwiches. Wilton always has the coolest ideas!!

  231. There are SO many awesome things on the Wilton site that it is very hard to choose just one. Wilton to me is like a huge candy store to a child! I LOVE everything Wilton!!

    Of all things I own and cannot live without is the 11×15 Performanc sheet pan. My brownie rewcipe has become famous around the country from those who copied it from an online community I used to belong to and when I make them at home they disappear so quickly that I must make a quadruple batch of them. This is the pan that I use to make my brownies.

    I also love my 8″ & 12″ angled spatulas as they are so useful for so many things. Ane then too, I cannot live without my cake leveler from Wilton. That makes the difference of making a cake and a perfectly done cake.

  256. Ultra gold pans??? Sweet!!! I have a very very tired and rather scary set that truly needs replacing… I don’t think rust is healthy for cooking :).
