MY REVIEW
As most of you know, we just had a new baby come to our house! For the past few weeks I’ve been thinking about how I’m going to get my 2 year old outside to play and keep my newborn out of the sun at the same time. We live in a town home with a huge grassy common area, but no shade, and the Sport-Brella is just what I was looking for!
Here are some of my favorite things about the Sport-Brella:
- It folds up very compactly, fits in a carrying case, and is lightweight to carry
- It sets up in less than a minute
- It protects you from sun, wind, and rain (so not just for summer)
- It opens up to 7′ wide, big enough to fit the whole family
- It has zippered windows for ventilation
- It is super stable and can be set up in several different positions
We have already used this a ton – because it is so quick and easy to set up, we put it in the common area so baby and I are in the shade while my toddler plays. It’s so nice to be outside without getting too hot and sunburned. I can also carry it with me to our neighborhood park because it is so light. The Sport-Brella is going to keep us pasty white all summer long!
Besides being great for those days at the park, beach, or baseball games, the Sport-Brella would be a great item for a 72-hour kit or to keep with your camping/emergency preparedness gear. I would use this at the beach. I hate baking in the sun but love going to the beach. Plus this would allow great sand building play for my toddler while being shaded.

awesome, what wouldn’t i use it for?! it is perfect for keeping the babies under at the park, at the beach, in the backyard, while camping. first thing i would do is pack a picnic and a good quilt and head to a park…

I really need this. I’m having some skin cancers removed on my face. I stayed in the sun to much in my youth. I am now really paying for it. I keep my 2 and 4 year old GRAND daughters and still have to go out and play. This would be wonderful for me to use with my skin issues. Sign me up!

We’re going to CA this summer to visit my side of the family and we have a two year old and 4 month old twins…this would work perfectly at the beach for us, or just in the hot CA sun!

My son is fair skinned so this would be great to take to the beach with us this summer. I love how portable it is and that it’s big enough for all ages to use, unlike the baby cabana we have, which is small.

LOVE the Sport Brella – and SO need it!!! We have a new baby ourselves, #3, and many summer activities: t-ball, reunions, park days, etc. – all of which would be MUCH easier with this product! It’s big enough I wouldn’t need to move it around a million times during a game & also that we could all sit in the shade WITH all the EXTRA little ones that seem to join us!

That looks awesome!!! We don’t have shade in our yard or at the parks we go to so I would really need this with a baby coming late summer! My older kids can play and I can keep the baby shaded! What a cool item!
We have so many outdoor adventures planned this summer, but this would be really great for our trip to Florida and the beach and our trip to South Dakota and Mt. Rushmore/hanging out around our cabin. I think it would be good to use as shade when we are at the parks around here, too.

Wow- what can’t you use this for?? I have two boys in baseball and their sister will be joining them shortly. It is always hot at the beginning of fall ball and at the end of spring ball. This would be so nice to have at the park, and also able to use it when we are camping or are out at the park. What an amazing idea!

Oh man….I love this. I have a beach umbrella that I try to prop up in a variety of ways in my backyard so I have some shade while the kids are playing. It’s a hassle…. This would be such a great replacement!

I would use this umbrella for our soccer teams, I coach a boys team and a girls team. We play in the hot sun, and in the pouring rain. I can not haul around and put up those tents, along with dragging a bag full of soccer balls. This umbrella looks like the perfect solution to protecting my players from the elements and it looks very easy to carry and set up.
