If you sometimes need a fast paced, competitive, energetic, and a little crazy game for math time, Even Steven’s Odd is the perfect choice!

Players choose a color and get a dice board and a set of 6 dice, 3 white and 3 colored. The first player flips over a Challenge Card from the deck and all players race to make their dice meet the conditions of the Challenge Card.

In this round, players try to be the first to roll 5 odd dice and 1 even dice, place them on the dice board, and GRAB STEVEN from the middle of the table.

Everyone is going as fast as they can and sometimes multiple people go for Steven at the same time, so pass around the fingernail clippers before you play!

The challenge cards are full of great math concepts and you could also make up your own. For example, collect dice that are a factor of 12 or pairs that make sums of ten, the possibilities are endless to make this game really work for you during math time!

The player to collect the most challenge cards wins!

My boys enjoy dice games – they’re fast paced and don’t require too much hard thinking but they still get those math gears turning in their busy brains. It’s easy for big and little kids to play together so perfect for homeschool families!
