I found this great idea for crock pot baked potatoes on crockpot365.blogspot.com.

I like the taste of oven baked potatoes rather than microwaved ones, but it takes longer. Doing it in the crock pot is a brilliant idea!

The Crock Pot Lady’s name is Stephanie and I think she is going to post a new crock pot recipe each day for the whole year. Here are her instructions for crock pot baked potatoes:

  • wash potatoes
  • let them dry
  • prick a few times with a fork
  • wrap in foil
  • put inside crock pot
  • don’t add water
  • cook for 10 hours on low or 6 hours on high

This is going to be our Sunday meal! Yummy!!!

So we had them for dinner and we loved them! So moist and yummy – I don’t think I’ll ever do baked potatoes in the microwave again. Thanks to Steph at crockpot365.blogspot.com!

Kelsey, I’m so glad that you enjoyed them!
I gave my mom the leftovers, and she said that they froze well, too.
