Day 9: Invite a Neighbor to Dinner

in Celebrations, Routines, & Traditions

Think of all your neighbors and acquaintances and invite someone to dinner. Try to think of someone who lives alone and who may not have family around during the holidays. Open up your home to this person and invite them to have dinner and share part of this Christmas season with your family.

After dinner sing Christmas songs and have hot chocolate. Think about inviting this person to be with you on Christmas day as well – spending Christmas alone must be terribly difficult. Try to think of someone to include in your family celebrations this Christmas season.

What a great idea. A few years back I decided to buy a set of dishes for holiday use and decided to buy clear glass so that the table decorations could take center stage. I find them very useful when I take the time to get them out of the basement and use them!
