I’m putting together a HUGE Kids Gear Giveaway that will begin next week and run for 4 weeks with 4-5 new prizes each week. If there’s a particular kids product you’d like me to try and get for the giveaway, please let me know in the comments below and I’ll see what I can do!

I have some ideas, but I’m not sure they are what you would consider Kid Gear.

creative products (maybe for preschool age…read washable!!…and school age) like Play-Doh/accessories, paints, markers, papers, stencils, stamps, ink, fabric crafts (like potholder makers), simple sewing kits or even patterns to make toys (for parents…etsy has lots!)

non-toy products like bug catchers, child camera,

portable dvd player with safety switch so parents control with remote (Ours is a Sony, and it’s great!)

Little People
Leap Frog
Wooden toys (Melissa and Doug!!)

Outdoor play (like your sponsers Step 2!!) slides, pools, wagons, bikes, balls, tables, sand box

Feeding Gear by Munchkin is great

Organization needs (bookcases, toy boxes, outdoor toy box, cubbies)
BOOKS! (and puppets to go with them)

On my dreamer’s wishlist is a wooden swingset.

I hope this is a bit helpful!

Annette has AWESOME ideas!! I would add a double jogging stroller…I’m sure it would be a big hit and I would keep my fingers crossed to get one myself, but it would be a fun children’s gear addition for anyone in need :)
Since summer is coming, it would be fabulous to see some outdoor play items, big or small!

hope this helps. can’t wait to see what you’ve got…it’ll be great no matter, you have fantastic sponsors and giveaways!

These are great suggestions, and we have some of them already! There will be a double jogging stroller, but it will be later in the summer, probably the beginning of July, so watch for that.

If you have any specific items or brands, let me know. I’ll definitely get to work on your ideas. Thanks!

Kelsey – You probably know that I make aprons for children and toddlers (boys and girls). If that is something you think your readers would like, please e-mail me – I’d love to put an apron in one of your giveaways! http://www.lolocraft.etsy.com for examples

Terrific ideas! I would agree with Terressa T. wiht the outdoor items. Maybe something like the Sun Smarties or some SPF clothing for kids would be great! I would also love to see a balance bike with no wheels that is suppose to help teach a child to ride a bike without training wheels.
I’m sure you will have fabulous items to give away as always! Can’t wait!
