Aerated Pancakes

syrup and pancakesBoyd made pancakes for dinner last Saturday.  I need a lot of syrup on my pancakes because I like every square inch to be drenched.  The middles of the pancakes are the hardest to submerge, as I’m sure you are aware.

Boyd came up with a way to solve that problem – poke holes with your fork into your pancake to allow the syrup to sink down into the pancake, so they look like they have just been aerated (without the little plugs all over the place).  BRILLIANT!

I don’t think my pancakes will ever survive another dinner without being stabbed to smithereens!
