I’ve been thinking – with the price of flour and basically all food staples and everything else except homes and cars on the rise, I wonder if baking homemade bread is more or less expensive than buying it.
I’m thinking about conducting a study to find out the answer, assuming one can purchase bread for $1.09 or less, which is what I usually pay if I can’t find anything yummy on the day-old racks. I always look at those day-old racks and have often found some delicious breads, especially at Smith’s.
Anyway, I like to make bread, and it used to be much cheaper to do it that way, not that I don’t buy most of our bread because it’s more convenient. I would just like to know. I’ll share my findings as soon as they’re found.

I’m excited to see what you find out!
You know, in majority of cases they add yeast to bread and in the long run this causes many ilnesses to our organism… that’s why it’s always better to prepare bread yourself t home to be sure that no harm will be done to your helth!
