kids-audiobooks.jpgA friend directed me to a website where you can download 6 books for free. There are others that you can purchase, but if you have a library card, you probably don’t need to. Most libraries offer access to an online library where you can download audiobooks, so check with your librarian. Ours is called Net Library, and they have tons of books of all genres available for download.

We’re thinking about taking the train rather than flying home to Oregon for Christmas this year. I will be downloading all my favorites from now until then to prepare for the 24 hour trip. With the help of audio books, I think I will survive. Happy listening!

Great post Kelsey! Thanks. I will post this on my deals site as well, giving credit to you, of course. The link you posted didn’t work for me, but this one did. So if anyone else has trouble just wanted to let you know.

Oh, and there are 9 free books, not just 6. Cool!

Thanks for the link. I am off to check it out now and see what they have to offer.

I love audiobooks. We have been listening to them for several years now. Our kids are getting old enough now to start listening too. We love them!!!!! Thanks for the site suggestions.

Great sites! I wanted to share another one–not a take along option but fun stuff

you can preview kid’s books page by page and read to them :)
