Diaper Stick
4 commentsJoel has had really bad diaper rash – I think maybe he’s allergic to milk, but I can’t be sure. He loves milk and it’s the one thing he’ll never reject, so I don’t want to stop giving it to him. It could also have nothing to do with milk – identifying the culprit would be very difficult.
His rash has gotten better over time, especially since I’ve been using Chapstick on his bum. I used Desitin for a while, which helped, but didn’t take the rash away. I’ve been using Chapstick for two days now and it seems to be doing the trick.

I took the label off the “Diaperstick” so the tube is plain white – hopefully this will ensure that my husband doesn’t use it on his lips. I guess I should tell him which Chapstick I’ve been using on Joel’s bum…oops. Anyway, something to try at least if you need a diaper rash solution.

We use Bag Balm that you buy in the pet section. It seems to work the best for us.
great idea.
PS – cute blog!
I didn’t think of Bag Balm!!! That’s funny because my grandpa used to put Bag Balm on EVERYTHING. He would put it down his throat when it was sore and anywhere else. We were always joking about how Bag Balm could fix anything – a car, a sink, a broken arm…and diaper rash! I’ll have to try it and tell my grandpa to add it to the list! Thanks Jeri!

How funny, I would have never thought to use chapstick but it totally makes sense.
