Interview with a 2 Year Old

Kids are so funny, and Elliott’s language/speech has changed recently so he speaks more conversationally and will actually answer questions (sometimes). That’s a real step in a child’s language development. He’s also saying some of his letters better, and I just love to hear him talk!

I asked Elliot some questions this morning. Here’s what he had to say about his life and preferences:

Q. How old are you?
A. I’m 6.

Q. What’s your favorite thing to eat?
A. It’s food. It’s Mommy. It’s salad.

Q. Who loves you?
A. Jesus loves me.

Q. What happens when you don’t listen?
A. I go in time out.

Q. What’s your favorite song?
A. It’s Chile Va God. (I am a Child of God.)

Q. What’s your favorite book?
A. It’s Chile Va God. (I am a Child of God.)

Q. What’s Momma’s name?
A. Hon. (And then he kept saying, “Honey, you need to cooperate.”)

Q. Whose church do we go to?
A. Jesus’ church.

Q. Who is your friend?
A. Noah. Mommy. Gus.

I need to think up some more good questions to ask him. Any ideas?
