Blowing bubbles is one of the world’s greatest family activities. We went to the park last weekend to blow some bubbles with Joel and we all had a great time. I took some fabulous pictures to help inspire you to get out the wand and bubble solution and get light headed!

Seriously, kids love bubbles, and the important thing when planning family activities (which you do have to do or else they won’t happen) is to do something that everyone enjoys. After all, relationships are built and strengthened when there are two or more people doing something together that they all enjoy.

Get creative and try using unique objects for your bubble wands. You could try a small cookie cutter or a key ring? I would think that anything narrow and small enough would work.

And don’t forget the camera. An SLR works best because you need that fast shutter speed to catch the kids in action (I love my Canon Rebel XSi) but if you just have a point-and-shoot, try fiddling with the settings to increase the shutter speed for the best results.

Above all, HAVE FUN! Laughter is good for you (you need at least 5 minutes a day), so be silly and have fun.
