Day 9 – Play in the Snow
9 comments
If it has snowed recently where you live, build a snowman or go sledding. Sliding down a snowy hill on rubber inner-tubes is a fun activity we used to do in my family when I was a kid…just be careful because it can be dangerous! My sister broke her arm doing this (although we weren’t sliding down a hill, we were being towed behind our family Volkswagen and she slid off the road and hit a tree…oops!)
If there is no snow, go ice skating at a local rink.
However you play, dress warmly!

I Scrap So All Moments Are Remembered!!
Since moving from Utah (lots o snow) to South Carolina, I miss sledding! I guess I got is ice blocking. Ever done that? Pretty fun, yet also dangerous!
what a beautiful photo!! we love the snow, although we have to drive about 4 hours to get there! lol!
We love making snowmen with the grandkids.
Great photos! My girls played in all the snow we got Saturday & Sunday. They stayed out awhile too, really had fun!
Love the pic! It snowed today for the first time this Winter here in OK. Unfortunately, it melted too fast for me to take any fun snow pics. I cannot *wait* to build a snowman this year!

my kids are still waiting for the snow !!
We don’t usually get snow here in Las Vegas, but everyonce in a while, it just might snow…it’s such a fun treat. We can drive to a nearby mountain though….
This is a great photo!! It looks so fun!! I have a bad memory of going sledding when I was little and on a ski trip with Girl Scouts. I had gone sledding with a friend of mine on the same saucer sled. I was so scared that I asked her to sit in front of me so that I could hide behind her. Well, when we started going faster and faster down the hill, the sled eventually was going down the hill at breakneck speed…..BACKWARDS!!! Then my worst fear happened….we ran into a tree, and since I was in the back and we were sliding down the hill backwards, that meant it was my back that slammed into the tree knocking the wind out ot me. I’ll never forget that as long as I live.
On the other hand, I used to love to ice skate but can no longer do it due to my chronic pain condition. It’s okay, I can have fun watching others do it.
Thanks so much!!
